🩺 Cancel Consultation Policy

Welcome to our online doctor consultation platform. We are committed to providing you with reliable, accessible, and high-quality healthcare services. However, we understand that sometimes users may need to cancel their scheduled consultations. This “Cancel Consultation Policy” explains the rules, fees, and process regarding consultation cancellations and refunds.

1. Cancellation Procedure

If a user wishes to cancel a booked consultation, the request must be made at least 1 hour before the scheduled consultation time.
To cancel, log in to your account, go to the “My Appointments” section, select the consultation you wish to cancel, and click on the “Cancel Consultation” button.
Once the cancellation is successful, you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS.

2. Cancellation Fee (2% Service Charge)

A 2% service charge will be deducted from the total paid amount when a consultation is canceled.
This fee covers administrative and transaction processing costs.
For example, if you paid 1000 BDT for a consultation and later decide to cancel, 20 BDT will be deducted as a cancellation charge, and 980 BDT will be refunded to you.

3. Refund Process and Timeline

Refunds are usually processed within 3 to 7 business days after the cancellation request has been approved.
The refunded amount will be returned through the same payment method used during the initial booking (e.g., mobile banking, debit/credit card, or online payment gateway).
In case of any unexpected delay, our customer support team will notify you via email or phone.

4. Cancellation by the Doctor

Sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, network issues, or scheduling conflicts, a doctor may need to cancel a consultation.
In such cases, the full amount will be refunded — no service fee will be deducted.
Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule the consultation at a new time slot without any additional cost.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are not eligible for cancellation or refund:

  • If the cancellation request is made less than 1 hour before the scheduled consultation time.

  • If the consultation has already been started or completed.

  • If the user fails to join the consultation at the scheduled time (marked as a “No Show”).

In these cases, the consultation fee will be considered forfeited.
